About Get On Top

Get On Top, developed by Neplin Game Studio in Construct 3, is a physics-based 2-player stickman wrestling game that turns childhood floor scuffles into a chaotic ragdoll brawl. Two stickman fighters grapple, flip, and flail across the screen, each trying to pin the other by forcing their opponent’s head into the ground while keeping their own head safely away from it. The exaggerated ragdoll physics mean every match plays out differently, with limbs flying, momentum swings, and lucky recoveries that can turn a losing position into a win in an instant.

You can play Get On Top for free directly in your browser, either against the built-in AI in 1 Player mode or head-to-head with a friend on the same keyboard in 2 Player mode, with mobile support through on-screen arrow buttons. There’s no download or account needed — just load the game and start wrestling for control of the mat.

Rounds and Winning

Each match in Get On Top is played across a best-of-11 series of rounds. A round ends the instant one stickman’s head touches the ground, awarding that point to the opponent — so a single mistimed move can cost you the round even if you were dominating a second earlier. Choose 1 Player mode to practice against the AI or 2 Player mode to settle the score with a friend on the same device, and race to be the first to lock in enough round wins to take the whole match.

Attack and Defense

Because the physics engine flips and tumbles both ragdolls unpredictably, aggressive attacking alone often backfires — you can easily headbutt the ground yourself while lunging at your opponent. Defense matters just as much as offense: keep your head and neck angled away from the floor, use leftward and rightward movement to reposition mid-scramble, and shift your body mass deliberately to destabilize your opponent rather than just pushing blindly. Reading the ragdoll’s momentum and reacting a split second before impact is what separates a lucky win from a controlled one.

Tips for Winning at Get On Top

Stay patient in close scrambles rather than mashing your movement key, since sudden overcorrections are what usually send your own head to the ground. Try to force the fight toward the edges or corners, where your opponent has less room to recover their balance. Watch your opponent’s momentum rather than their position — a stickman mid-flip is often more vulnerable a moment later than it looks right now, so time your push for when they’re already off balance.

How to Play Get On Top

  1. Choose your mode — Pick 1 Player to face the AI or 2 Player for local head-to-head play.
  2. Take control of your stickman — Use your movement keys to shift weight and position your ragdoll.
  3. Look for an opening — Watch your opponent’s balance and wait for a vulnerable moment.
  4. Push toward the ground — Use jump and movement together to force your rival’s head down.
  5. Defend your own head — Reposition quickly whenever you start tipping toward the floor.
  6. Win the round — Score a point the instant your opponent’s head touches the ground.
  7. Take the match — Repeat across the round series until you have enough wins to be crowned champion.
