About FamiDash

FamiDash is a free online rhythm-based platformer developed by Kandowontu and inspired directly by Geometry Dash. You guide a small cube — and later a flying ship and a bouncing ball — through fast, music-synced obstacle courses packed with spikes, gaps, and precisely timed jumps. With 22 modes to work through, including Stereo Madness and Back on Track, each course is built around a different track, and the beat of the music doubles as a rhythm cue for when to jump.

Playable free in the browser and on mobile with tap-to-jump controls, FamiDash keeps every level short but unforgiving, since crashing into a single spike sends you straight back to the start of that attempt. The trial-and-error pacing rewards memorization and rhythm as much as raw reflexes, making it a satisfying game to replay until a level finally clicks.

Game Modes in FamiDash

Stereo Madness is the primary mode and the best starting point, cycling through cube, ship, and ball forms as you jump over spikes and obstacles or hold to fly a ship up and release to glide back down. Back on Track ramps up the difficulty from there, demanding faster reactions and tighter timing, and it’s a good early test of whether you’ve internalized FamiDash’s core rhythm. With 22 modes total, each level layers new obstacle patterns and hazards on top of the same core controls.

Mastering the Rhythm

Every FamiDash course is built to sync with its background music, so the beat itself often signals exactly when to jump. Treating the level like a memorized dance routine — rather than reacting purely on sight — tends to produce far more consistent runs, especially once obstacle density increases in the later modes.

Tips for Winning at FamiDash

  • Time jumps to the rhythm of the beat rather than reacting to obstacles alone.
  • Stay sharp and watch for spike traps hidden right after tricky jump sequences.
  • Master basic cube control in Stereo Madness before moving to harder modes.
  • Learn each course’s patterns through repetition and react instantly on repeat runs.
  • Stay focused through the whole course — one mistimed jump near the end restarts everything.

How to Play FamiDash

  1. Pick a mode — Choose from 22 modes, starting with Stereo Madness.
  2. Learn the controls — Use the Up Arrow or Z to jump at the right moment.
  3. Listen to the music — Sync your jump timing with the background beat.
  4. Dodge the obstacles — Avoid spikes and gaps as your cube, ship, or ball moves forward.
  5. Control ship sections — Hold to fly up and release to descend in ship segments.
  6. Memorize tricky spots — Replay sections that trip you up until the pattern sticks.
  7. Reach the finish line — Complete the course without crashing to clear the level.
